Create Your Very Own Style Of Postage Stamps

In This Tutorial You Will Learn A Very Different Style Of Making Postage Stamps In Photoshop CS2.

Steps To Follow:

1. Open The Photoshop.

2. Now From File Menu Click On New And Set The Dimension As 600 By 420 And Then Click O.k.

3. Now Fill The Layer With Gray Color.

4. Now Use Custom Shape Tool To Draw The Postage Stamp Template.

5. Now Draw The Shape With White As Foreground Selected.

6. Now Click On The Shape To Select The Shape And Then Use Paint Bucket Tool And Fill The Shape With White Color.

7. Now Make A New Layer.

8. Now Again Use Custom Shape Tool And Draw A Shape.

9. Now Right Click On The Layer Then Click On The Blending Options.

10. Now Tick On The Inner Shadow And Then Click On The Bevel And Emboss Options And Then Set The Style As Outer Bevel And Click O.k.

11. Now Add Some Text Like Price And Position It On Left Bottom.

12. Now Again Add Some Text By Using Text Tool And Type “postage Paid” And Click On The Angle Button And Then Click On Arc And Hit O.k.

13. Now From Edit Click On Free Transform And Roll The Text By 90o And Position It On The Left Top Side And Click On The Tick Button To Accept The Transformation.

14. Now Use Elliptical Marquee Tool And Select The Text Postage Stamp.

15. Now From Edit Menu Click On The Stroke Button And Set 1 PX And Make Sure Stroke Is Center Selected And Then Click O.k.

16. Now Repeat This Step One More Time But This Time Set The Stroke To 5 PX And Then Erase The Extra Stroke By Using Eraser Tool.

17. Now Select The Shape Layer And Right Click On The Layer Then Click On Blending Options, Now Click On The Drop Shadow Check Box And Then Click O.k.

18. Now Use Dodge Tool And Rub Over The Layer 2 And Then Use Burn Tool And Rub Over The Layer.
